Trick to Shut Down Windows Xp faster
Many a times you would have found out that it takes a long to shut down the computer running windows Xp
Here is the trick to shut down it faster
Start Reg-edit. (by typing reg-edit in the run command in the start menu)
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control.
Click on the "Control" Folder.
Select "WaitToKillServiceTimeout"
It will currently be around 20000
(Time in milliseconds which it waits to terminate a program)
Right click on it and select Modify.
Set it a value lower than 2000 and above 200
your Xp will now shut down faster

Caution:- Doing extra pranks (which is not suggested above) in the registry editor may be dangerous.
